Job Description
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Milton Keynes or the London offices
Contract length: 3-months
IR35: Inside
Start Date: Immediate start
As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.
Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.
We’re looking for a People Partner contractor to join our team on a 3-month basis. This role is critical to supporting leaders and employees through complex people matters and organisational change, providing expert guidance that ensures fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes. Working as a trusted People Partner, you'll lead employee relations cases, redundancy and restructuring programmes, while building strong relationships and coaching managers to make confident, informed decisions. It's an exciting opportunity for an empathetic and commercially minded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating positive people experiences during times of change.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
