Contract: 12 Months

Location: 2 days in Head Office Nottingham, the rest of the week is Field-Based

Are you ready to make a real difference in a role that truly matters? At Boots, we’re looking for a Workforce Planning, Transformation and Change People Partner to support people planning across business change activity. This Level 5 role will help shape clear people plans, strengthen delivery, and ensure store and colleague impacts are understood early.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role will provide People Partner level support across workforce planning, transformation and operating change activity. Working with the Head of People, business leads, programme teams, Operations, Logistics and People Partners, you’ll help translate change into clear people plans, risks, actions and decision requirements.

  • Support the development of people plans that consider store impact, colleague workload, role accountabilities and leadership capacity.
  • Provide challenge and assurance so proposed changes are practical, deliverable and thought through from a people perspective.
  • Build clear people impact narratives and recommendations to support decision making and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate governance outputs, action tracking, risks, dependencies and follow-up across connected workstreams.

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)

  • Experience of partnering with leaders to shape and deliver people plans during business or operating change.
  • Strong understanding of store, field or operational environments, including workload, capacity and colleague impact.
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear actions, risks, dependencies and recommendations.
  • Confidence to provide constructive challenge and influence stakeholders across different functions.
  • Strong organisation skills, with experience tracking actions, milestones and follow-up activity.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience supporting workforce planning, role design or operating model activity.
  • Experience working in a retail, healthcare or multi-site operational environment.
  • Confidence using data and insight to support people planning and decision making.
  • Experience supporting UK governance meetings, programme activity or cross-functional projects.
