WeDoData is a specialist recruitment company that focuses on non-teaching support roles in the UK education sector.
We’re working with an established further education client of ours based in London who are looking for an experienced People Partner who can balance the day-to-day realities of HR with the bigger picture.
You’ll work closely with managers, providing practical advice on complex employee relations matters while helping shape workforce plans, organisational change and wider people initiatives.
You’ll also manage and develop a team of People Advisors.
As a People Partner involved in:
- Advising managers on complex employee relations and employment law
- Supporting disciplinary, capability, absence and other staffing matters
- Developing workforce and succession plans
- Using workforce data to spot trends, skills gaps and future staffing needs
- Supporting organisational change and restructuring
- Delivering people-related projects and management training
- Building strong relationships with senior and operational managers
- Managing and developing members of the People team

You’ll be an experienced HR generalist with strong knowledge of UK employment law and a solid background in employee relations. You’ll also need experience of workforce planning, organisational change and working with senior managers.
A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent relevant experience is required. Previous HR experience in education would be useful, but isn’t essential.
