What’s the role about?
As our People Partner, you’ll play a key role in bringing the Reiss People Plan to life across your assigned business areas. Working closely with People Partner and wider People Team, you’ll build trusted relationships with stakeholders, provide pragmatic people advice and help create an exceptional employee experience.
You’ll combine strong generalist HR expertise with a commercial and curious mindset, using insight to identify opportunities, improve people processes and support leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider People projects, helping shape how we continue to evolve as a business.
This position is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Who you are
You’ll have previous experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced retail, fashion or commercial environment.
- A confident and credible HR professional who can build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to provide pragmatic advice while balancing commercial priorities, employee experience and risk.
- Commercially minded and curious, with the ability to use people data and insight to identify trends, challenge thinking and drive meaningful improvements.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of operational delivery.
- A collaborative and proactive team player who brings a positive mindset, embraces change and is passionate about developing people and creating an inclusive culture.

What you’ll be doing
- Partnering with your allocated business areas to deliver the People Plan, providing trusted advice across the full employee lifecycle and keeping close to emerging people priorities and challenges.
- Managing and advising on a broad range of employee relations matters, including organisational change and restructures, ensuring decisions are commercially sound, fair and appropriately risk managed.
- Using people data, engagement feedback and business insight to identify trends, understand root causes and recommend actions that improve the employee experience.
- Leading and supporting improvements across people processes, ensuring operational activity is efficient, consistent and delivered to a high standard across your business areas.
- Supporting key activity including performance reviews, pay review, progression grids and annual leave administration, while ensuring policies and processes remain relevant and fit for purpose.
- Coaching and developing People leaders, building their confidence and capability across areas including performance, engagement, employee relations and effective people management.
- Supporting initiatives that strengthen our culture, engagement and inclusion, including employee communications, engagement activity, ED&I, wellbeing and reward and recognition.
- Working collaboratively with the wider People Team on priority People Plan projects, partnering across Retail People, People Development and Talent to deliver practical solutions and a consistent global approach.
