The People Partner/HR Manager role is characterised by variety and you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business in your designated site while leading the local people team. Your daily job will be to engage with different stakeholders and use your wide breadth of HR knowledge to support local leaders on a range of people matters and policies.

This role is site based, from September 2026 2 days per week with the intention to increase to 5 days per week in line with Global guidelines when site capacity will allow.

Key Responsibilities

The Local People Partner is accountable for high quality local delivery of people processes and advisory support, ensuring compliance, consistency and positive employee experience while supporting delivery of global and regional people priorities.

  • Act as the primary local people advisor and point of contact for leaders and employees, providing timely, practical and compliant guidance on people matters.
  • Provide strong expertise and hands on support on local employee relations matters, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary cases, grievances, redundancies, settlements, statutory leaves and other employment lifecycle events, in line with local labour laws.
  • Partner closely with Focal People Partners and People Business Partners to support end-to-end delivery of HR cyclical activities such as MPACT, employee engagement surveys, talent reviews, succession planning and Annual Salary Review (ASR), Engagement Survey etc.
  • Support leaders in understanding and executing engagement survey action plans and follow-through at local level, aligned with global priorities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely people data management in Workday, including role changes, moves, compensation updates, allowances and organisational data, maintaining strong data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Approve and process Workday transactions within delegated authority and ensure alignment with local regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Focal People Partners on workforce changes, restructures and organisational initiatives, ensuring compliant, employee-centric and well-managed local execution.
  • Lead or contribute to local / regional initiatives and projects along side functional, including policy implementation, legislative changes, audits, site level activities and entity or benefits harmonisation where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities for process excellence and continuous improvement within people processes, partnering with EEO delivery teams to improve efficiency, quality and employee experience.
  • Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the People Partner community, bringing local insights into global discussions.

  • HR Expertise: Demonstrates end-to-end HR Generalist capability with comprehensive exposure to core HR disciplines.

  • HR Systems Proficiency: Leverages HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms to support people processes.
