Join us as a People Partner - TUPE and Transitions

WithYou are excited to be recruiting for an experienced People Partner, focusing on TUPE and transitions for the People team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the operational delivery of people plans for new business transfers and contract retentions, ensuring TUPE compliance, best practice and consistency across all transfer activities. This role contributes directly to our growth strategy.

This role is offered on a full time and permanent basis, working from home and with a salary of between £40,000-43,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

In this role, you will provide expert people advice to inform key business decisions, helping to identify and manage people-related risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the practical and lawful application of TUPE, as well as developing people strategies to support new business opportunities and contract retention. You’ll also support the growth of our existing services, advising on workforce requirements where additional investment in service delivery creates opportunities to expand our teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing specialist TUPE and HR support and advice to the New Business Development team, in relation to tendering and growth activities to inform people related decisions, risks and mitigation
  • Leadership, knowledge and practical application of TUPE and its application within a tendering environment
  • Ownership of TUPE and people decisions in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across commissioners, outgoing/ incoming providers, external partners and subcontractors, new business and contract retention team, Operational Teams and the People team
  • Supporting the growth of existing services where additional investment in delivery results in increased workforce
  • Supporting the development of strategies to mitigate people impact, related to new business and contract retentions and designing suitable people transfer approaches

We’d be excited to see evidence of the following in your application - please use your cover letter to tell us more about your skills, experience and knowledge, specifically around TUPE:

  • Chartered membership of the CIPD or significant demonstrable experience
  • Experience of delivering end to end TUPE processes
  • Proven ability to design successful people change management programmes including implementations, restructure and TUPE
  • Credible HR processes and change management experience
  • The ability to influence and consult with a wide range of stakeholders - including clearly articulating people transfer solutions to senior internal and external stakeholders and explaining the approach, key risks, assumptions and plausible mitigations
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to carry out multiple tasks/projects
