Your role within the team:
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and highly organised People & Payroll Coordinator to support the smooth running of our UK office and help deliver an outstanding employee experience as part of our People & Culture team. This is a varied and hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships across the business, and taking ownership of a broad range of payroll, HR and office management activities.
Working closely with the People & Culture Business Partner, you will support key people processes across the employee lifecycle and contribute to a range of HR initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll, Reward & Benefits
- Support monthly payroll administration for the UK, Ireland and Geneva offices, working with external payroll providers.
- Administer employee benefits, pension schemes, and insurance programmes.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HR and payroll systems.
- Support annual salary review, bonus and performance management processes.
- Assist with salary benchmarking and HR reporting, including headcount and organisation charts.

HR Administration
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the People & Culture function.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, contractual changes and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Conduct Right to Work checks and maintain employee records in line with UK GDPR requirements.
- Respond to employee queries and provide first-line HR support.
- Prepare HR documents, letters and reports as required.
- Support employee relations processes and maintain confidential records.
- Coordinate training activities and compliance training.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and chair the UK Culture Group.
- Assist with HR projects as needed.
Office & Employee Experience
- Support the day-to-day running of the UK office and maintain a positive working environment.
- Manage office supplies, facilities, post, couriers and general office administration.
- Process purchase orders and invoices in line with company procedures.
- Liaise with building management and external suppliers.
- Support office Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and workplace compliance.
- Coordinate office events, visitor management and onboarding logistics.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ Years' previous experience in HR administration, payroll, office management or a similar support role.
- Good understanding of UK payroll and HR administration processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (or studying towards one) is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice is desirable.
