The People Performance & Governance Officer
The People Performance & Governance Officer will provide high-quality administrative, coordination, and governance support to the People Performance, Governance & Place team. The postholder will manage their own workload with minimal supervision, coordinate project and governance activities, analyse and present information, support service improvement, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The role contributes directly to the efficient running of people-related governance frameworks and the delivery of Trust-wide people performance priorities.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People Performance & Governance function, managing workload independently.
- Coordinate meetings including agenda preparation, circulation of papers, room/virtual booking & accurate minute-taking.
- Maintain & update project documentation including action logs, trackers, risk logs, and governance folders.
- Monitor progress against key milestones & alert relevant staff to delays or issues.
- Support improvement projects by gathering information, preparing summaries & assisting with implementation tasks.

Data, Reporting & Information Management
- Collate, analyse & present data relating to people performance, projects, and governance.
- Produce routine reports, dashboards, or written summaries for senior colleagues.
- Ensure data quality, version control, and accurate record-keeping in line with Trust standards.
- Maintain key databases, logs, and performance reporting systems, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.

Locations
We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.

- FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various Consultant-led services.
- WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life-threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
- All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case, and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
Our Community Service for adults is provided in people's homes, community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals. Our aim is to work with people to help them remain independent, improve their health, and manage their conditions through high-quality care, advice, and support.
