People Project Coordinator – 3 month temporary contract

We are looking for a confident and organised People Project Coordinator to join Mencap on a temporary basis for 3 months (ideally on a secondment basis).

This is a great opportunity to support an important people project that will help us create a clearer, more consistent and accessible job description repository across the organisation. You will play a key role in gathering, reviewing and organising job description content, working with colleagues across different teams to make sure roles are described clearly and consistently.

You will help develop simple templates, guidance and standards so job descriptions are easy to understand, inclusive and useful for recruitment, role clarity, workforce planning and job evaluation. You will also support the creation of a clear process for keeping job descriptions up to date, easy to find and properly maintained.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
