Role Description

The People Protection role at soslabs.ai is a full-time hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the professional will help safeguard people and spaces by monitoring physical environments, identifying potential risks, and supporting implementation of safety protocols. Typical day-to-day tasks include interacting with clients and visitors, responding to safety-related inquiries, documenting incidents, and escalating concerns when needed. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to refine protection procedures, providing basic training or guidance on safety best practices, and contributing feedback to improve soslabs.ai’s security-focused products and services. The individual will be expected to maintain a calm, professional presence, uphold confidentiality, and represent the company’s safety-first values in all interactions.

  • Skills in Physical Security, including situational awareness, risk identification, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to relay information accurately to diverse audiences.
  • Customer Service skills, including empathy, patience, and a professional approach to assisting and supporting people in potentially stressful situations.
  • Training-related skills, such as the ability to convey safety guidance, support basic onboarding on procedures, and reinforce best practices.
  • Sales-related skills where appropriate, such as explaining protection solutions, identifying client needs, and supporting service adoption in a consultative manner.
  • Relevant experience in safety, security, or people-facing roles (e.g., security operations, public safety, front-of-house, or support roles) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and adapt to changing operational needs in the London Area.
  • Strong ethical judgment, respect for confidentiality, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices; formal training or certification in security, safety, or risk management is an advantage but not mandatory.
