People Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and capable individual to join our team as a People Reporting Analyst on a Fixed Term Basis/Secondment until December 2027. At Southern Housing, we are committed to delivering a proactive, reliable and effective end-user service to internal stakeholders. This role plays an important part in achieving that.

Reporting to the People Systems & MI Manager, you will be responsible for providing a proactive, reliable and effective people data reporting service. Along with expert data analysis and visualisation and systems administration support.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting data from all people systems in line with people reporting requirements
  • Developing people reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI and other data tools
  • Analysing people reports and presenting to subject matter experts in various visual formats
  • Maintaining and improving the monthly, BI-monthly and quarterly reporting process
  • Acting as first point of contact for any people data requests

You will be based at one of our main offices in either Farringdon, London or Sittingbourne, Kent. You will be required to work from our offices for a minimum of two days per week.

About You

We are looking for someone with a proven and in-depth background in people / HR data reporting. You'll have experience of extracting data and building complex reports from various people / HR systems and converting these into meaningful MI dashboards and providing trend analysis.

You need to have significant experience with Power BI and SQL as this is essential for this role. Experience of working with Zellis HMC Cloud (ResourceLink), Eploy or Kallidus would be an advantage.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience working with HR/People systems and reporting environments.
  • Strong Power BI, SQL and advanced Excel skills and ability to produce reports and dashboards and analysing complex datasets.
  • Ability to engage clearly with stakeholders and colleagues, working effectively across teams and building strong relationships
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving and complex environment.

You will work closely with other People Systems & MI colleagues in the People Shared Services Team as well as the wider People Directorate to deliver a first-class service to other colleagues, residents and external customers and partners.
