People Services Administrator

Full Time | Mansfield

Are you passionate about creating a great employee experience and keeping people processes running smoothly?

We're looking for a People Services Administrator to join our People team. This is a varied role supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and compliance, while acting as a key point of contact for employees across the business.

You'll play an important role in welcoming new starters, coordinating training, maintaining accurate people records and ensuring compliance requirements are met.

What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming new starters and supporting them through onboarding and inductions
  • Providing a positive and professional first impression of the business
  • Supporting recruitment administration and candidate processes
  • Managing learning and development administration through our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Tracking mandatory training and supporting compliance reporting
  • Conducting Right to Work checks and maintaining associated records
  • Monitoring visa and immigration compliance requirements
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and people systems
  • Supporting probation reviews, training plans and other people processes
  • Responding to day-to-day employee queries and providing administrative support to the People team

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an HR, People Services or HR Administration role
  • Knowledge of Right to Work checks and HR compliance processes
  • Experience using an LMS or coordinating employee training
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Comfortable delivering face-to-face inductions and welcoming new starters
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Knowledge of UK immigration processes and visa compliance
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
