People Services Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Cambuslang, is currently looking to recruit a People Services Administrator for a 3 month contract on a rate of £14.63/hour (PAYE). This role will be hybrid based.
Responsibilities
- Administer and process vacancies for all aspects of the recruitment process from vacancy creation through to offer letters for all Support and Uniformed staff.
- Ensure effective communication with the Recruiting Manager, People Adviser and candidates throughout the process to support the smooth and timely progression of vacancies and campaigns
- Ensure that any changes in Policy, Procedures and practices are reflected and updated in all relevant People documentation e.g. letters, forms and processes
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the Conditions of Service for all employee groups to ensure ability to carry out role and respond to queries from managers and stakeholders
- Maintain, administer and update systems (e.g. HR/Payroll system and the Services electronic resourcing system) ensuring data/information is current and accurate.
- Maintain personal records relating to personnel, to support compliance with policy and legislation in relation to Data Protection and Information Governance regarding the handling and storing of personal and sensitive.

Essential Skills
- Knowledge of electronic reporting systems for recruitment.
- Essential experience within a busy administrative environment, good organisation skills with ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and timescales
- Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Knowledge and experience of handling confidential data and IT packages e.g. Office 365.

Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of electronic reporting systems e.g. HR/Payroll systems, financial systems.
- HNC Business Administration or equivalent
- Experience gained within a resourcing administrative environment
