The Opportunity

Our People Shared Services team have an exciting opportunity where you will make every employee experience count!

We are looking for a passionate People Shared Services Administrator, where you will play a key role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly, supporting colleagues from onboarding through to offboarding, while making sure our processes are accurate, compliant and efficient.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced HR environment and takes pride in their work!

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting into the People Shared Services Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
  • Prepare and issue contracts, offer letters and employee documentation.
  • Complete and maintain right-to-work checks, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Keep employee records accurate and up to date on our HR System.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and site-based managers.
  • Respond to and resolve HR queries through our shared services helpdesk.
  • Support audits, compliance and process improvements.
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment law and HR best practice.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements within the team.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in your application you will be organised, accurate and confident working with sensitive employee information, with previous experience in HR administration or a People Shared Services environment, with a strong understanding of HR processes, particularly contract administration and right-to-work checks.

You will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will also be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, while working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

You will be experienced in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, and previously have had experience to HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors or equivalent. You will have a strong understanding of data protection, confidentiality and employment legislation, particularly right-to-work compliance.

While we offer a hybrid working policy, we would expect this individual to be flexible in travelling to operations or our head office in Chineham, Basingstoke at least once or twice a week.

Role Details

  • Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Location: Midlands, South, or Chineham based.
