Job Description: People Services Advisor - Fixed Term

Bupa Place, Manchester M50 3SP

Hybrid – office min 1 day per week

Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Salary £26,400 - £28,500 depending on experience

The role

You’ll make sure that a professional HR support service is delivered to agreed standards and that there is a constant focus on service innovation to deliver the optimum experience for all users of the service.

You’ll contribute to and operationalise all aspects of development and change relating to changes and enhancements in technology, process, and people, supporting and delivering a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing demand, and understanding the customer needs and delivering process improvements and outstanding customer experience.

You’ll be a key contributor to the future focus and quality of service delivered by the People Service teams to our customers.

How you’ll help us make health happen

  • Support our internal customers through multiple communication streams, ensuring that service excellence is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Ensure all the activities within the agreed timescales and Service Level Agreements
  • Meet first line query resolution through ServiceNow, email, telephony
  • Assist with Case Management of complex queries – maternity / paternity, etc.
  • Provide administrative support on scheduled and non-scheduled employee benefit initiatives.
  • Secure Occupational Health appointments
  • Operate the Bupa Travel service desk
  • Review applications for Electrical Cars & Fleet
  • Review Employee Loan applications in line with the policy
  • Support managers and employees to put workplace adjustments in place and liaise with 3rd party companies for assessments and ordering of equipment.
  • Process Subject Access Requests

You

  • Experience of working in a high volume and complex operational setting.
  • Working knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is highly advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and experience
  • Brilliant problem-solving skills.
  • Clear evidence of excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and management skills at all levels.
  • A confident and collaborative team player
  • Able to work at pace, balancing multiple tasks in a very busy role
