Partnering with a Purpose-Led Professional Services Organisation
We are partnering with a highly respected, purpose-led professional services organisation to appoint an experienced People Services Advisor to join its People Services team.
This is a broad and influential role, working closely with managers and leaders to provide expert advice across employee relations, performance, sickness absence and wellbeing, while developing management capability and improving the overall People service.
You will be responsible for:
- Advising and coaching managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters.
- Supporting managers with complex sickness cases, including reasonable adjustments and occupational health.
- Monitoring absence trends and using data to identify opportunities for early intervention.
- Building trusted relationships with managers and senior stakeholders across the business.
- Providing practical advice on UK employment law, policies and people processes.
- Working with specialist People teams where additional expertise is required.
- Developing guidance, tools and training to improve management capability.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of People policies.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and employee experience.
- Supporting wider People projects and organisational priorities.
- Ensuring people practices remain compliant with UK employment legislation.

About you
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional with:
- A strong generalist HR/People background, ideally within a complex or professional services environment.
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Confidence advising and influencing managers and leaders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
- A proactive, coaching-led approach that empowers managers.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, including experience using People data and MI.
- A genuine interest in continuous improvement and challenging established ways of working.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
