At GXO, we're looking for a People Services Specialist to join our central People Services team based at our Northampton Head Office. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll enjoy the flexibility of splitting your time between home and the office while supporting colleagues through every stage of the employee journey.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll play a key part in delivering a first-class People Services experience, managing activities across the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, position management, employee changes, case management and leaver processes. Working closely with Senior Specialists and stakeholders across the business, you'll provide expert guidance, resolve queries and help ensure our people processes are efficient, compliant and employee-focused.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Manage HR service tickets efficiently, ensuring requests are processed accurately, tracked effectively and resolved within agreed timescales.
- Maintain and validate employee, position and organisational data across HR systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance and data integrity.
- Create, amend and manage positions within Oracle, SuccessFactors and associated databases, including data cleansing and integrity reviews.
- Produce compliance audits, reporting and governance documentation, supporting continuous improvement and adherence to data management standards.
- Partner with HR teams, People Services colleagues and project stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant and efficient HR administration and position management processes.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience within a shared services environment, ideally supporting a large, complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, GDPR, HR systems (preferably SuccessFactors and ServiceNow), with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
- Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver effective solutions.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads, make sound decisions, solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- CIPD qualified (ideally degree educated) with a proactive, collaborative and resilient approach, demonstrating accountability, initiative and a passion for continuous improvement.
