The People Solutions Specialist role is a vital position in the UK and Ireland HR team, where your unique experience and perspective will be needed to provide effective first point of contact and employee life cycle HR support for our business in the UK.

The role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to important projects for the company while developing your skills as a HR professional. You’ll have opportunity to truly influence and improve our processes and leave your mark on Suntory Global Spirits.

Role Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for our employees on the resolution of a wide variety of HR and PS enquiries
  • Independently handle and clarify general inquiries to the HR department.
  • Advise on, interpret and manage contracts, policies and procedures
  • Ownership of the employee life cycle, as well as regional PS programs and policies, including contracts, benefits, retirement, on-and offboarding, relocation, etc., working closely with subject matter experts.
  • Provide support to our (HR) leadership on appropriate interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • General support of HR Business Partners where and when appropriate.
  • Challenge the status-quo to continuously improve our PS services.
  • Responsibility for time recording and vacation administration software, as well as HR data and HR process management on the relevant platforms
  • Partner with our payroll team to coordinate monthly payroll input
  • Support on reporting activities for different areas.
  • Documenting maintenance of key processes and activities.
  • Participation in local and regional projects

Qualifications

  • Experience (2+ years) in a similar role in Human Resources
  • Confident written and verbal English communication
  • Professional qualification in the field of human resources or a related discipline, relevant HR certification / CIPD accreditation preferred
  • Experience managing projects & processes
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and HR systems – SuccessFactors preferred
  • Experience with a shared service environment preferred

  • You can work well in a dynamic environment and have an eye for detail.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills. Other language skills are considered a bonus. Ideally, you have already had exposure to matrix organizations or a shared service environment.
