About the Role
Role and responsibilities:
- Building relationships with any level of manager at The Dotdigital Group so you are the go-to person for advice and queries where appropriate.
- Employee relation case management; scoping, investigating, advising, and running PIP/investigation/disciplinary/dismissal meetings, while liaising with external employment law advisors where specialist legal guidance is required.
- Escalating ER cases and tasks upwards where further consultation or advice is needed to continue with the case/task yourself or handover.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and ensure HR advice, policies, and practices remain compliant with current legal requirements.
- Responsible for all The Dotdigital Group payrolls, to ensure information is completed in a timely manner with accurate and consistent information. This includes running payroll briefings with the appropriate stakeholders on a monthly basis.
- Ownership of benefits at The Dotdigital Group, this includes owning relationships with brokers, supervising enrolment and leaver administration, expertise on all benefits in all locations, and running renewals at appropriate times of the year.
- Global project input and delivery with the rest of the People department; taking the role of Project Lead, ensuring deadlines are maintained, and updates are regularly provided on Monday.com and to the Project Sponsor.
- Support employees and Managers with day-to-day inquiries.
- Approving expense forms for benefits and invoices where appropriate.
- Interviewing candidates.
- Supporting the Employee Lifecycle including and not limited to new starters / leavers / internal changes / maternity & paternity.
- Ownership of recurring duties throughout the year including and not limited to benefit renewals / Employee of the Year.
- The point of escalation for ticketing queries and responding in a timely manner.
- Provide cover for the HR Assistant and Senior HR Advisor during periods of annual leave.
- Promote company culture and values.

About You
You are an experienced HR professional with a strong background in Employee Relations and a sound understanding of employment law. Comfortable managing a varied ER caseload, you provide practical advice to managers and stakeholders across a global business. You are a collaborative team player who can effectively prioritize competing demands while contributing to HR projects and process improvements. With strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, you are committed to delivering an excellent people experience and supporting organizational success.
You’ll be an HR professional with 2+ years of HR experience who might be looking to develop your role to gain technology industry and/or international experience. This is a hybrid role based at our London Bridge office 2 days per week.
Experience:
- 2 years+ of relevant advisory / generalist work experience in HR.
- International experience is desirable.
- Employee relations experience is essential.
- Experienced with handling HR support queries.
- Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.

- 1st F2F via zoom with People Success Manager and People Success Partner - EMEA & Americas.
- Final F2F in London Bridge with People Success Manager, Global People Director, and Chief People Officer, includes task.
