Job Description

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

In this position, you’ll be based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.

Are you looking to build a career in HR while gaining exposure to a global organisation? We're looking for a People Support Consultant to join our Shared Services People team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your HR knowledge in a varied role where you'll support employees and managers with a wide range of people-related queries and processes. Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you'll gain insight into different areas of the People function and develop skills that can support future career progression.

A role you will love

As a People Support Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience by providing day-to-day support to employees and managers across the business.

A large part of your role will involve managing enquiries through our HR helpdesk, investigating queries and providing clear, accurate guidance on policies and processes. You'll also support a variety of employee administration activities, including onboarding, employee changes, leavers, references, and HR letters.

Working closely with colleagues across the wider People team, you'll help ensure queries are resolved efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

  • Managing and resolving employee and manager enquiries through the HR helpdesk
  • Supporting employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, employee changes, and leavers
  • Preparing references, HR letters, and other employee documentation
  • Providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and systems
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

What will you bring to the role?

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, investigating queries, and communicating confidently with a variety of stakeholders.

You'll Bring

  • Experience in administration, customer service, or HR administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently and use your initiative
