Group People Systems & Analytics Manager
Salary: £47,401 per annum
Location: Peterborough and/or Stamford

As we deliver our ambitious People Plan 2026 - 2030, we are seeking an exceptional Group People Systems & Analytics Manager to lead the development of our people systems, workforce analytics and data-driven decision making capability. The role will be instrumental in delivering the Digital, Data and People Analytics priority within our People Plan.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people systems and analytics professional to transform how workforce data, insight and technology support organisational performance, workforce planning and the employee experience across one of the region's largest education providers.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Director of People Services, you will be responsible for the strategic management and development of our people systems, ensuring robust data governance, insightful workforce analytics and effective reporting that enables evidence-based decision making across the Group.

You will:
- Lead the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of our people systems, including iTrent and associated platforms.
- Develop workforce dashboards, analytics and management information to support leaders and managers.
- Provide insight on key workforce metrics including recruitment, retention, absence, employee relations, workforce planning and diversity.
- Improve workforce data quality, governance and compliance.
- Lead statutory and sector workforce reporting, including DfE and AoC workforce returns and benchmarking surveys.
- Support digital transformation projects and the implementation of new technologies and AI-enabled people analytics.
- Translate complex workforce data into meaningful insights and recommendations that drive organisational improvement.
About You
You will be a highly analytical and technically capable professional with experience of HR systems, workforce data and reporting.
You will have:
- Significant experience managing People systems and workforce data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present meaningful insights.
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting frameworks and workforce KPIs.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality and information management principles.
- Experience of using people analytics to influence strategic decision making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer service.

Experience within Further Education, Education, Higher Education or another large complex organisation would be advantageous.
