About Us

From empowering entrepreneurs to build successful businesses, to supporting their clients to arrange'me time' moments, we're in the business of elevating people - helping them to thrive and feel fantastic. Lifting others up can be hard, heavy work, and we passionately believe that the sense of purpose and personal satisfaction this brings are worth it.

What started in Poland is now an international, cloud-based marketplace that's scaling rapidly. We bring independent business owners together with their customers on a product that connects creative communities and opens up worlds of opportunities.

For our providers, our products offer services for getting booked, paid, and building a loyal client base. For their clients, we're where they can find their favourite spots, discover new businesses and book appointments in an instant.

Working in a rapidly growing, ever-changing scale-up comes with its own set of opportunities and challenges. If you prefer a stable environment, with clear processes and structures then, we've got to be honest, you won't always find that here. However, if you enjoy inventively solving problems with others, helping create clarity when things get confusing, and prioritising your own path within ambiguity, then the chances are that you'll love the opportunities available to grow your career at Booksy.

The Role

As an People System & Automation Engineer reporting to the Head of People Technology, your purpose will be to build the automations that free our People & Culture teams from admin and to own them end to end.

  • Build integrations and workflows against live systems: BigQuery, Google Cloud, Apps Script, and our HR and hiring platform APIs
  • Put Claude and Gemini into production workflows, with guardrails and a human checkpoint wherever judgement is needed
  • Design configurable engines rather than one-off scripts — you'll be the one maintaining them
  • Work with process owners across People & Culture to turn what they actually do into something buildable
  • Track the hours and cost your work frees up, and report it

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We've mapped over 200 processes. The principle behind every build: automate the admin, keep the judgement human. You'll be levelled and mentored inside our Product & Tech function, working alongside our existing engineer.

Requirements

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need...

  • Strong BigQuery and SQL skills you'll be tested on this early in the process
  • Expert-level workflow automation: multi-step scenarios, branching, data stores, error handling and webhooks
  • Practical experience putting LLMs into production with structured outputs, guardrails and human-in-the-loop design
  • Discretion with sensitive data — pay, performance and candidate information, handled in line with GDPR
  • At a minimum we require conversational level English language skills. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business-wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy

  • Working code ability — JavaScript (Google Apps Script) and/or Python for the glue no-code can't reach
  • Google Cloud experience (Firebase, AI Studio)
  • Experience taking a non-technical team through a change in how they work, not just shipping the tool
