People Systems & Data Advisor

Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Temporary, 3 Months
Rate: £20 - £24 per hour (DOE)
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Are you an experienced HR Systems and Data professional available at short notice?

We are recruiting for a People Systems & Data Advisor to join a large and complex organisation on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR systems knowledge, advanced Excel skills and a passion for data quality, reporting and process improvement.

Working within the People Services function, you will play a key role in maintaining HR systems, analysing people data, supporting system enhancements and delivering meaningful reporting and insights to stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain people data, ensuring accuracy, integrity and compliance
  • Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and people metrics
  • Identify data discrepancies and implement solutions to improve data quality
  • Support the delivery of system upgrades, enhancements and testing activities
  • Assist with cyclical HR processes including performance reviews, learning and development activities, benefits administration and payroll-related processes
  • Monitor and improve HR system performance and user experience
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased system capability
  • Provide guidance and support to system users across the organisation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working with HR/People data within an HR or People Services function
  • Strong experience using HR systems and managing employee data
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience producing reports, dashboards and management information
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience supporting system improvements, testing or implementation activities
