I'm working with a reputable and luxury care home provider to recruit a People & Talent Manager to join their central support team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning organisation with an excellent reputation, beautiful homes, and ambitious growth plans. The role is broad, varied, and offers genuine opportunity to influence recruitment, people processes, and workforce development across the business.

This isn't a traditional HR role. We're looking for someone who understands recruitment inside and out. Someone who enjoys attracting great people, building relationships with managers, improving processes, and making sure candidates have an excellent experience from application through to onboarding. Alongside this, you'll support the wider people function including training, compliance, and operational HR.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead a small team and support a portfolio of luxury care homes across the UK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
