About the Role
We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused People & Workplace Coordinator to become one of the most connected people in our business. This is a varied role combining office management, people team support, employer branding, recruitment coordination and culture. Reporting to the People Director, you'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience, supporting business operations and ensuring our workplace runs smoothly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of our London office.
- Welcome visitors, candidates and suppliers, ensuring an excellent experience.
- Manage meeting rooms, office supplies, catering, deliveries and office vendors.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate logistics and room bookings.
- Support onboarding activities, inductions and new starter experiences.
- Book and coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation and itineraries.
- Support company meetings, town halls and People initiatives through effective planning and logistics.
- Organise social events, celebrations, charity initiatives and employee engagement activities.
- Support workplace health & safety activities, maintenance and facilities management.
- Maintain office equipment records and support equipment returns for leavers.
- Support the People team with administration, reporting, presentations and communications.
- Help create and maintain consistent Beacon branding across People materials, policies, guides and communications.
- Manage and update recruitment and employer brand content, including the careers page and job adverts.
- Assist with the creation of presentations, training materials and employee-facing content.
- Support key workplace projects, including our future office move.

Qualifications
This role could be a great fit if you've gained experience through office administration, events, hospitality, recruitment coordination, customer service, workplace operations or similar environments. We're more interested in your attitude, potential and willingness to learn than a specific background.
Required Skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Friendly, approachable and passionate about creating a great employee experience.
- A good eye for presentation, branding and detail.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary £27,000 per annum + discretionary bonus
