Help us create a better future, quicker

At SP Energy Networks, we're investing in the future of our network and supporting the transition to Net Zero. As a Performance Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the systems that underpin project delivery, financial governance and regulatory reporting across our business.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across Energy Networks and Iberdrola, helping ensure that critical business systems support efficient project delivery and provide accurate financial and regulatory information. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

You'll act as a key link between Energy Networks and Iberdrola Control for matters relating to Portfolio & Project Management, Plant Maintenance and SAP CO systems. Working alongside colleagues across the business, you'll help resolve system queries, support users and ensure the integrity of financial and project-related information.

You'll maintain and enhance core system processes to support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, provide expert guidance on project management processes, and help build capability across the business through training and knowledge sharing. You'll also support continuous improvements that strengthen system performance and business outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
