About Amber Labs

Amber Labs is a fast-growing UK technology consultancy delivering digital transformation across enterprise, government, and regulated sectors. We specialise in cloud, data, software engineering, user-centred design, and AI, helping organisations deliver better services through modern technology and agile ways of working.

We are currently supporting the delivery of critical digital services within a major UK government programme and are seeking an experienced Digital Performance Analyst to join our growing digital delivery teams.

This role will support the delivery of large-scale digital transformation initiatives, helping improve digital services through data-driven performance analysis and continuous service improvement.

The Role

As a Digital Performance Analyst, you will use data, analytics, and user insight to measure, monitor, and improve the performance of digital services.

Working within multidisciplinary agile teams, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, delivery managers, designers, and stakeholders to develop meaningful performance measures, analyse user behaviour, and provide actionable insights that drive continuous service improvement.

You will play a key role in developing performance frameworks, monitoring service performance, and ensuring robust analytics implementation that supports evidence-based decision-making across complex digital programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis & Service Improvement

  • Understand user needs and define measures to assess whether services are meeting those needs.
  • Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary service teams, using analysis and insight to support continuous service improvement.
  • Develop and maintain performance frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting to effectively measure and communicate service performance.
  • Use digital analytics and other data sources to analyse user journeys and identify opportunities to improve service outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on performance measurement, analytics implementation, and data collection across multiple sources.
  • Bring together front-end and back-end data to develop a more rounded and complete understanding of service performance and user outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality analysis and performance reporting that provides actionable insight, proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experiences.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring outputs to support decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of major digital initiatives, including the move to GOV.UK One Login.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
