What you will be doing:
- Manage the Learning, Talent and Performance mailbox, acting as the first point of contact for learning and development queries, including troubleshooting and responding to Astute-related requests.
- Act as the first line of response for store incidents, reviewing and responding to wellbeing needs, and escalating where possible.
- Provide responsive administrative and operational support across the Performance & Culture team, managing ad hoc queries, requests and project activities as required.
- Coordinate WHStart induction, including invite management, welcome emails and bags, and support to ensure the days are a success.
- Support with day-to-day communications administration across the team and the links between internal communications and operations.
- Own the day-to-day administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of MyWHSmith, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and aligned to the Performance & Culture team priorities.
- Support the delivery of the colleague engagement programme, coordinating survey data, reporting and associated administration.
- Maintain and analyse Performance & Culture data, producing regular reports, dashboards and insights to support decision-making and track programme effectiveness.
What we are looking for:
- Experience managing shared mailboxes, responding to stakeholder queries and coordinating multiple activities simultaneously.
- Experience administering HR, learning, engagement or colleague experience platforms, with strong system and data management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, HR systems and reporting tools, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive, customer-focused team player who builds positive relationships, takes ownership of tasks and is passionate about delivering a great colleague experience.
