The Role

We are hiring a Performance Creative Strategist to own the bridge between data and creative output across our paid social channels, primarily Meta and TikTok.

Your job is to ensure every ad we run is grounded in performance insight, not guesswork. You will analyse what is working, develop concepts and scripts designed to convert, brief creators and editors, and iterate relentlessly based on results.

You will work directly with the CGO and alongside media buyers, editors, brand and UGC creators. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where your creative decisions will have a direct and measurable impact on customer acquisition cost, revenue, and growth.

What You Will Do

1. Data Analysis and Creative Performance

You will spend meaningful time inside ad platforms understanding what is working and why. This includes:

  • Analysing performance metrics: hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS, and thumb-stop ratio
  • Identifying winning creative patterns: which formats, hooks, angles, and styles drive results
  • Conducting creative audits to surface which customer pain points, product claims, and proof points resonate most
  • Translating performance data into clear creative direction and testing priorities
The goal: turn numbers into creative decisions that improve acquisition efficiency.

2. Creative Ideation and Scripting

Once the data reveals opportunities, you design the next round of creative tests. This includes:

  • Developing concepts and "disruptive ideas" for ad campaigns, grounded in buyer psychology and direct response principles
  • Writing hooks, scripts, and calls to action using proven frameworks (problem/agitate/solve, AIDA, before/after, and others)
  • Storyboarding content with clear visual direction: something engaging should happen every 2 to 3 seconds
  • Developing creative angles aligned to the customer journey: cold audiences need different messaging to warm and returning buyers
  • Generating a high volume of structured creative concepts designed to find winners, not just fill a calendar
The goal: produce a steady pipeline of testable creative ideas that give our media buying the fuel it needs to scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

3. Briefing and Creative Production

You act as the translator between strategy and production. This includes:

  • Writing clear, detailed briefs for UGC creators, influencers, and editors, covering hooks, talking points, b-roll, and visual direction
  • Reviewing drafts and providing specific feedback on pacing, text overlays, and storytelling
  • Ensuring every asset aligns with the strategic intent behind it
  • Building and maintaining a library of high-performing assets and reusable footage
  • Coordinating across external agency partners and internal creative teams to provide direction on the best creative production source for maximum efficiency
The goal: turn strategy into content that can be produced quickly and consistently, without losing quality.

4. Testing Strategy and Iteration

You will own the creative testing roadmap. This includes:

  • Designing structured tests that isolate single variables: hook A vs. hook B, angle X vs. angle Y
  • Iterating on winning ads by refining hooks, pacing, messaging, or visuals
  • Identifying drop-off points in video content and optimising accordingly
  • Tracking competitor creative and emerging platform trends to keep our approach current
The goal: continuously improve creative performance through disciplined experimentation, not random output.
