The Role
We are looking for a sharp, conversion-obsessed Performance Creative Strategist to own our direct-response video pipeline. Your sole mandate is to turn raw creator talent into high-performing, revenue-generating paid ad creative.
You will act as the director of our creative engine: coming up with product positioning angles, writing killer 3-second hooks, scripting UGC, briefing creators/editors, and analysing ad account metrics on Meta to scale winning ad concepts.
What You'll Do
- Direct-Response Strategy: Translate core product USPs, consumer psychology, and customer pain points into high-converting ad concepts, scripts, and visual briefs.
- Creator Briefing & Direction: Build tight, foolproof briefs for external creators, influencers, and UGC talent. You will direct them on hooks, messaging, visual pacing, and CTAs to ensure assets are built specifically to convert.
- Testing Frameworks: Own our creative testing pipeline on Meta/TikTok. Systematically test creative variables (e.g., 5 hook variations against 1 core body angle) to continuously improve Thumb-Stop Rates, CTR, and Hold Rates.
- Post-Production Direction: Work closely with video editors to turn raw creator footage into polished, high-converting paid social ads (adding captions, graphic overlays, audio hooks, and fast-paced edits).
- Performance Analysis: Work closely with the founder to analyse CAC, CPA, and ROAS. You’ll dissect what’s working in the ad account and use data to iterate on scalable "hit" ads.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are
- A Growth Marketer First: You understand direct-response psychology, hook rates, visual contrast, customer personas, and what drives consumer action in the first 3 seconds of a scroll.
- A Master Brief Writer: You know how to give a creator exact direction on what to say, how to frame the camera, and how to act, without making the final ad feel forced or fake.
- Data-Informed: You don't make creative decisions based on "vibes" or vanity aesthetics. You care about conversion, hold rates, CPA, and efficiency.
