About the Job

We’re looking for a Performance Creative Strategist to join our creator function, where UGC and influencer ads are a key part of our paid channel mix on Meta. This is a role for someone who understands what makes great performance creative work and knows how to get the best out of creators.

If you know what makes a creator brief perform, have a sharp eye for talent and good attention to detail, and are excited by turning creator content into scroll-stopping ads, this one’s for you.

About Us

At Untamed, we are on a mission to become Europe's leading pet brand, driving innovation in the $57 billion pet food industry's fastest-growing segment: cats. Since our launch seven years ago, we've delivered over 100 million meals to more than 500,000 cats across the UK, proving our product-market fit and scalability.

Your Role in Our Journey

Our Growth Team has earned a reputation for producing some of the best-performing creative in DTC. We’re now looking for a strategist who can help us brief creators at scale, while making sure every brief is matched to the right talent, script, persona and angle.

You’ll use performance data to decide what we brief next and own creative delivery from concept to final content. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, with scope to help shape how we scale the function.

You’ll report into our Performance Creative Manager, who sets the strategy and direction for the creator function, and work closely with our Influencer Marketing Executive, who manages creator relationships and commercial coordination. You’ll lead creative briefing and feedback, keeping them aligned.

What You'll Do

  • Briefing: Write scripts and open briefs for both UGC creators and influencers, building on winning concepts in the ad account while leaving room for each creator’s own style.
  • Creator Matching: Understand the strengths each creator brings and match them to the right briefs, scripts, personas and angles.
  • Talent Sourcing & Handover: Find the right creators for specific briefs, focusing on who will drive performance rather than reach, and hand them over to our Influencer Marketing Executive to negotiate. Keep track of when whitelisting and partnership access is granted, so creator ads can go live without delay.
  • Analysis: Dig into the ad account data yourself to understand which scripts, hooks, angles and creators are working. Review Meta spend, CAC and trials generated, and use test results to recommend what to brief, iterate or scale next.
  • Ideation: Proactively research customers, competitors, category trends and new creator formats to develop original concepts and a prioritised testing plan.
  • Feedback & Delivery: Review creator content with strong attention to detail, give clear, constructive feedback and keep briefs and revisions moving to agreed deadlines. Before anything goes live, check content in-house against the brief, brand guidance and approved claims, and flag any ASA/CAP or disclosure concerns for review.
  • Editing: Edit creator content in CapCut, including testing new hooks, adding captions and music, and recutting footage into new variations. Help with statics in Canva or Figma where needed, and flag production needs early.
  • Scaling & AI: Suggest tools and processes to help scale the function. Use AI to support research, ideation, briefing and analysis, checking the quality of its output. Keep creator briefs, content and results up to date in the team’s CRM and content workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
