A large owner of Communal Energy & Heat Network assets is currently looking for a Performance Engineer to optimise their assets. The role will focus on optimisation, technical assurance, and compliance. It is essential that the role holder has strong mechanical technical experience with heat assets. The role has heightened significance due to the regulatory compliance being introduced to the Heat Networks sector.

Responsibilities
- Performance Verification – conduct assurance audits
- Lead audits for Ofgem compliance
- Identify compliance & performance gaps
- Analyse network performance, provide guidance to engineering, operations, and senior management
- Continuous improvement – develop frameworks for performance testing

Skills & Experience
- Strong mechanical experience with heat assets
- Relevant experience with asset optimisation and technical assurance
- Experience of carrying out audits on heat assets
- Ability to analyse technical data and produce compliance reports
- Ability to influence engineering & operations
- Experience in heat or regulated utilities
