Performance & Insight Business Partner | Housing Association | West Midlands
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Housing Association in the West Midlands for an experienced Performance & Insight Business Partner to join their Performance and Insight team on a fixed-term basis until March 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a performance, insight or business intelligence professional to play a key role in helping shape organisational decision-making through the delivery of high-quality performance reporting, customer insight and strategic analysis. Working closely with senior leaders, stakeholders and Board members, you will provide evidence-based insights that drive continuous improvement and enhance services for customers across the organisation.
The Role
As Performance & Insight Business Partner, you will act as the trusted lead for performance reporting, research and insight across a range of business areas. You will work closely with operational and strategic stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, deliver meaningful analysis and ensure performance information supports informed decision-making at all levels.
You will also lead customer research and insight projects, manage relationships with external partners and suppliers, and contribute to organisation-wide improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the development and delivery of performance reports, dashboards, scorecards and management information.
- Producing insightful analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
- Monitoring performance against targets, trends and benchmarks, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Translating complex data and technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for a range of audiences.
- Leading customer research and insight projects using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Acting as the Performance & Insight representative on organisation-wide projects.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and account managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of KPIs, performance frameworks and reporting processes.
- Contributing to regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
- Supporting data quality initiatives and promoting a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders, Board members and other key stakeholders.
About You:
- Significant experience within performance reporting, business intelligence, data analysis or a similar discipline.
- Experience leading customer research projects using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience translating complex information into meaningful business insight and recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence, advise and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
- Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, management reports and performance frameworks.
- Confidence working with technology and supporting data-related projects and system improvements.
- Experience managing relationships with external suppliers, partners or account managers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging a wide range of audiences.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using reporting and data visualisation tools.
- Experience with Power BI would be highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A relevant qualification, or equivalent experience, in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, performance management or a related field.

- Understanding of governance, risk management and regulatory reporting requirements.
