Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Performance Manager to help drive operational excellence across our Connections business. This is a nationwide opportunity, and we're open to candidates based anywhere in the UK. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to operational sites, M Group offices and team meetings as required. You'll work closely with operational teams, senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business, helping to drive performance improvements and deliver meaningful operational change.

As Performance Manager, you'll take ownership of identifying, delivering and embedding improvements that enhance operational performance, compliance, customer experience and business efficiency. You'll work across multiple functions to understand challenges, uncover opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that deliver measurable results. From driving process improvements and performance initiatives to supporting system enhancements and operational change, you'll play a key role in helping the business achieve its strategic objectives.

You'll lead and coordinate performance improvement initiatives across the business, using data, stakeholder insight and operational knowledge to identify opportunities and drive positive change. Working closely with operational teams, support functions and senior leaders, you'll analyse current performance, challenge existing ways of working and implement practical solutions that improve efficiency, quality, compliance and customer outcomes.

You'll support the delivery of change programmes, system improvements and operational readiness activities, ensuring new processes and ways of working are effectively introduced and embedded. You'll also develop performance reporting, dashboards and management information, providing clear visibility of results and helping leaders make informed, evidence-based decisions.

What you’ll bring;

You'll have experience in performance management, operational improvement, business change or transformation within a complex operational environment. You'll be comfortable working with large volumes of data, identifying trends and translating insight into practical actions that deliver measurable business benefits.

We'll be looking for someone who can build strong relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels and confidently challenge processes to drive continuous improvement. You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience of operational systems, Microsoft 365 tools and performance reporting will be highly beneficial, along with a passion for delivering lasting improvements that make a real difference to both our people and customers.
