Where you’ll be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

Want to be a part of it?

As a Performance Manager, you'll monitor performance across contracts, ensuring delivery teams meet operational, safety, quality and contractual targets. You'll analyse complex data, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear reporting and recommendations that help improve performance and inform business decisions.

Working closely with operational teams, clients and senior leaders, you'll champion a consistent approach to performance management while driving improvements across the division.

This role can be based Nationally, with regular travel.

What you'll be doing?

  • Monitor and report on KPIs across delivery, safety, quality and operational performance.
  • Produce insightful reports, dashboards and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Identify performance risks, trends and improvement opportunities, developing plans to address them.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead performance review meetings and influence actions that improve outcomes.
  • Develop and analyse complex datasets using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python and Excel.
  • Translate business and scorecard requirements into practical performance improvement plans.
  • Support governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across the division.
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.

Essential

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in performance, project or operational management.
  • Strong understanding of KPI reporting and performance management.
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong Excel capability, with experience interpreting and presenting data.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive performance improvements.

Desirable

  • Experience using Power BI, SQL and Python.
  • Financial and commercial awareness.
  • Utilities, infrastructure or operational industry experience.
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams.
