The Role

As a Performance Marketing Lead at Catalyst, you'll be at the heart of some of the most exciting D2C brands in the market, taking ownership of their paid media strategy. You'll lead campaign execution and strategic direction across paid social channels (primarily Meta and TikTok), managing large always-on budgets of >£50K per month and optimising to performance KPIs including ROAS and CPA.

You're someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, loves testing new ideas, and brings proactivity to everything you do. You'll be accountable for the performance of your portfolio, and you'll have real visibility, presenting directly to clients, leading QBRs and monthly reviews, and acting as a trusted strategic partner.

This is also a role with genuine leadership scope. As we continue to grow, there will be clear opportunities to step into further management, helping shape how the performance team is built and run.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategic direction across paid social accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, confident client relationships through weekly calls, in-person business reviews, and office hours. You'll work with and spending time talking to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lead QBRs, monthly performance reviews, and creative reviews across your portfolio.
  • Manage and mentor a Performance Marketing Executive, setting priorities and maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Drive a proactive testing agenda. You're always curious, always looking for the next thing to experiment with, and you build on learnings systematically.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on performance creative strategy and launch cycles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in paid social (Meta essential; TikTok a strong plus).
  • Paid search experience (Google/PPC) is a bonus, not a requirement, but would be great to have.
  • A confident, relationship-first mindset. You genuinely enjoy engaging with clients and can hold a room.
  • Proactive by nature: you don't wait to be told what to test, you come with ideas.
  • Strong data literacy, able to draw insights from complex datasets and make a compelling case from them.
  • Solid understanding of Meta best practices and platform nuances, with an eye for what's next.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of what performance marketing means for a brand's bottom line.
  • A team player who's equally comfortable leading and rolling their sleeves up.
