🔎Performance Marketing Manager
🚀DTC Consumer Brand
💸£50,000 - £60,000
📍Manchester (4 days office based)
We're working with a fast-scaling DTC Consumer brand in Manchester to help them hire for a Performance Marketing Manager. Known for their creative campaigns and cult following, the brand is investing heavily in the next phase of its digital journey and are now looking to bring their paid media function in-house.
As Performance Marketing Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape acquisition strategy, influence commercial decisions and build the future of paid media within a fast-paced consumer brand. You'll join a collaborative team where ideas are valued, experimentation is encouraged and your work will have a direct impact on business growth.
You will lead the transition of paid media from an external agency into an in-house function, taking ownership of customer acquisition strategy while remaining hands-on with campaign delivery. You'll understand how to build acquisition strategies that deliver long-term growth, know when to challenge existing approaches and have the confidence to make commercially driven recommendations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
