Performance Marketing Manager

London · Hybrid, 4 days in the office · £45,000 – £55,000

Reporting to the SVP of Growth & Data

This is a hands-on-keys role. You will be in the accounts daily.

Immersive Gamebox

Immersive Gamebox is a fast-growing entertainment business with 35+ venues across the UK, US and internationally.

We create immersive multiplayer games with partners including Netflix, Sony and Paramount — Squid Game, Batman and Floor is Lava among them. Both the venue footprint and the game library are expanding, which gives Growth a constant stream of new launches, new creative and new audiences to work with.

It is a highly visual, social product and an unusually fun thing to market. The opportunity is to take great IP, strong creative and a growing footprint and turn them into scalable customer acquisition.

The role

You will own paid media across a seven-figure budget, with support from data science, analytics, creative and marketing.

We want someone highly hands-on who can also shape strategy: commercially sharp, analytical, AI-native and intensely curious about what actually drives growth.

The first few months will focus on auditing the accounts, improving campaign structure and launching campaigns around new games and venues. From there the role expands into budget allocation, channel strategy, creative testing, incrementality and automation. Once the product, market & acquisition economics are understood we want you running the strategy, not just the accounts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll own

  • Campaign execution and optimisation across Meta and Google, with room to test TikTok and emerging channels.
  • Account architecture — structure, bidding, budgets, pacing, and the testing calendar behind them.
  • Launch campaigns for new games and new venues.
  • A testing system across audiences, offers, landing pages and creative. The creative team and agency do the making; you decide what gets tested, what gets killed and what gets scaled.
  • Measurement that goes past platform attribution. You'll have Triple Whale, PostHog, GA4, internal commercial data, and access to a data and analytics team — including a data scientist working with you on measurement, incrementality and MMM.
  • The commercial case for the spend. Revenue is not the target. You'll be judged on contribution after media and delivery cost.
  • Using AI and automation to take the repetitive work off your desk — reporting, pacing checks, first-pass analysis.
  • Being the internal voice on paid media: the person other teams come to before they plan anything.

What's essential

  • At least a year with your hands directly in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager. Not oversight of someone else doing it, not "worked closely with" — in the accounts.
  • Accountability for something a platform dashboard doesn't report: sales, bookings, margin. Agency or in-house is fine, and agency often means more reps.
  • Evidence you have built or rebuilt an account rather than only maintained one.
  • Genuine platform depth. You should have a view on how the algorithms actually behave, follow the practitioners worth following, and be in the subreddits and forums where media buyers trade the detail that never makes it into a platform blog post.
  • Analytical ability. We will test how you break a problem down and interrogate data far more than we will test your CV.
  • Commercial judgement. You treat the budget like your own money.
  • Systems thinking and an AI-native way of working — build the process once rather than repeat the task fifty times.

Useful, not essential

  • Physical sites, ticketing, seasonality or entertainment marketing.
  • GTM, tracking and attribution.
  • CRM/CMS experience.
  • SEO, GEO or AEO experience.

What's in it for you

The budget is seven figures, and you'll be close to the decisions about where it goes. Growth and Data sit together here, so you get to find out whether your work actually worked rather than taking a platform's word for it.

The ceiling is high — the role is built to become the strategic lead for digital acquisition as the business scales.

  • Unlimited holiday
  • One free game per month for you and up to 5 friends.

If you're early in your career, already obsessed with Google and Meta, analytically minded, and want considerably more responsibility than your years would normally buy you, we'd like to hear from you.
