Location: Remote, EST Hours Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor Experience: 2-3 years in paid media Pay Range: $17-$18 per hour, based on experience Reports to: Media Team Lead Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We're looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to work directly alongside our Media Team Lead as their right hand across a portfolio of eCommerce and lead-gen clients.
This is a build-and-grow role. You'll take first pass on campaign builds, optimizations, reporting and client-facing documents; the Media Team Lead reviews and coaches. That's the model, and it means you'll get real ownership fast, with a senior strategist reviewing your work rather than a manager assigning you tickets. If you want to be a senior strategist in two years and want the reps to get there, this is the seat.
You'll run campaigns across Google, Meta and Bing, and you'll get first crack at the platforms we're expanding into: TikTok, LinkedIn and Reddit. We use AI heavily and practically, not as a novelty. You'll be trained on our internal stack and expected to use it.
We're a global, fully remote team. What matters most to us in this role is communication, clear and proactive, in good spoken and written English, because you'll be in front of clients sooner than you might expect.
What You'll Be Doing
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Build and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Bing, and as we expand, TikTok, LinkedIn and Reddit
- Handle daily account work: keyword research, ad copy, bid and budget adjustments, audience refinement, A/B tests
- Monitor pacing and KPIs, and flag anomalies to the Media Team Lead early, before they show up in a client report
- Take first draft on optimization plans and recommendations for the Media Team Lead to review
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce first-pass client reports in Looker Studio, GA4 and our internal reporting tools
- Track results against CTR, CPA, ROAS and account-specific KPIs, and surface what changed and why
Research & Strategic Input
- Run keyword, audience and competitive research to feed strategy
- Test new campaign approaches and creative angles, and document what you learn
- Bring ideas to your 1:1s. This role has a voice, not just a queue
Client & Team Collaboration
- Join client calls, take notes, own the follow-ups, and grow into presenting your own sections
- Keep change logs, status docs and task boards current in Notion and Asana
- Support onboarding for new accounts

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.

AI-Assisted Work
- Use our internal AI stack (Claude, Claude Code, connected data tools) for analysis, QA, reporting and ideation
- Follow the team's AI workflows and contribute improvements back
- Apply our quality standard: don't send anything you wouldn't read yourself
Who You Are
- You bring 2-3 years of PPC experience (agency, in-house or freelance)
- Google Ads and Meta Ads are second nature; Bing is familiar
- You're certified or actively pursuing certification in Google Ads and Meta Ads
- You know your way around Google Analytics 4 and can read a report critically
- You're a confident communicator in English, spoken and written, at a B2 level or above with C1 preferred. This is the single most important requirement in this role. All candidates complete an English and a DISC assessment as part of our process.
- You're organized, analytical and genuinely detail-oriented, and you check your own work before handing it over
- You're proactive: you raise problems early and you don't wait to be asked for a status
- You ask questions early. If you're unsure about a change, a setting or a number, you raise it the same day rather than working it out alone. On this team, asking early is a strength and not a gap
- You're curious about AI and excited to use it daily
- You have a reliable internet connection and a tested backup option (mobile hotspot, co-working space, or similar). Our clients are US-based and calls can't be missed
- You're self-motivated and thrive in a remote, globally distributed team
Bonus if You Have
- Hands-on experience with TikTok, LinkedIn or Reddit Ads. We're actively expanding here and would love someone to grow into it
- Experience with US market advertising and budgets over $50K/month
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager
- Email marketing exposure (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign)
- Experience managing multiple accounts across different verticals
- An understanding of how SEO and organic social intersect with paid
Hours
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM US Eastern, Monday to Friday. We're a global team spread across five timezones and our clients are US-based, so overlapping the US day is what keeps us working as one team rather than five. There's flexibility within those hours, shaped mostly by client calls and internal meetings. We'll talk through what a typical week looks like at an interview. If working US Eastern hours doesn't fit your life, please don't apply. We'd rather both of us know now.
