About Us

We’re WiDEYE — we make personal care products that help you recover from time spent amongst the elements. Made in Rye Harbour, East Sussex, our products are for people who feel most at ease outside. Whether that’s swimming before work, trail running at the weekend, or walking the dog with a podcast. They’re simple to use, easy to stick with, and made to look after you before, during and after your everyday adventures.

We’re entering an exciting new phase of growth, so we’re on the lookout for top talent to help us along the way.

The Role

You'll be the production engine of a small, fast-moving creative team making paid social ads (primarily Meta). You take briefs from the creative strategist and turn them into finished ads at volume — hook variations, iterations on winners, and net-new concepts. Editing speed and self-direction are important for this role, we’re looking for someone who can take a rough brief and execute.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Location

Remote applicants are welcome, but we'd prefer someone based in or around Falmouth, Cornwall.

Contract

Rolling monthly contract, one day of work per week to start, with potential to grow into more work over time. Pay TBD based on level of experience.

What You'll Do

  • Edit short-form video ads for Meta (Feed, Reels, Stories) and adjacent platforms, from brief to export-ready
  • Cut multiple hook and variant versions of each concept so the team has volume to test
  • Iterate on proven winners — new angles, new hooks, re-edits — based on performance feedback
  • Source, cut, and assemble UGC and creator footage into ad-ready pieces
  • Own the media library: keep raw footage, b-roll, brand assets, and finished ads organised, named consistently, and easy for the team to find and reuse.
  • Turn around edits at pace

What You Need (Essentials)

  • Proven social ad editing — you've edited short-form video for social before, ideally paid ads, not just organic content
  • You understand hooks — you know the first 3 seconds decide everything, and you can build, vary, and strengthen hooks rather than just cutting a video front-to-back
  • Strong media library discipline — you keep assets well-organised with clear naming and folder structure.
  • Fluent in a pro editing tool (Premiere / DaVinci — whatever works for you)
  • Comfortable working from briefs and giving/taking feedback in a data-driven team

Nice to Have

  • Can shoot or source UGC as well as edit
  • Basic motion graphics / captions / sound design
  • Familiarity with reading ad performance (so you understand why you're being asked to iterate a certain way)
