Adaptive & Co

Adaptive & Co is a data-intelligence consultancy, a Premier Google Partner and Meta Business Partner, with teams across the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia. We work with global brands across e-commerce, B2B SaaS, travel, financial services, retail, and education, helping them build strong data foundations, generate meaningful intelligence, and turn that intelligence into marketing results.

We run performance media on one principle: platforms optimise to the signals they receive. So we run the media and the data underneath it as a single practice, and we measure performance on what it returns to the business.

The Role

We're looking for a Performance Media Consultant to own end-to-end performance for a portfolio of lead generation and e-commerce clients globally. This is a hands-on role. You run the accounts: Google Ads and Meta Ads first and foremost, with Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, LinkedIn and ChatGPT Ads where the client needs them.

What sets it apart is the data. You've done the platform work for years and learned, in the accounts, that performance is decided by the quality of the conversion data feeding the algorithm. You know what Performance Max and Advantage+ do with good signals and bad ones, and you can connect that understanding across every channel a client runs. You'll have data engineers in the same team to build what you need, and you'll know what to ask them for.

This is the senior individual contributor role in our Paid Media team. You own the strategy and the client relationship on your accounts, with Performance Media Managers and Specialists working alongside you on build and optimisation. The person who sets the strategy is the person in the account.

What You'll Do

Strategy and Performance

  • Own the cross-channel media strategy for each account: objectives, channel roles, budget allocation and measurement approach, refreshed quarterly
  • Own the client relationship, report in the figures the client's finance team uses, and lead quarterly business reviews
  • Build the value case for renewal and spot where accounts can grow, in media or across measurement and BI
  • Lead media audits and the strategy sections of proposals and pitches

Hands-on Platform Management

  • Build, manage and optimise Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across lead generation, e-commerce and brand-lift objectives, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Advantage+ and Smart+
  • Run the daily work: bids, budgets, pacing, audiences, creative rotation, query management, feed quality and landing pages
  • Set up and manage value-based bidding, conversion actions, offline conversion import and audience lists
  • Run the testing programme: creative rounds, audience and bidding tests, A/B and incrementality tests, with results read out and carried forward
  • Keep accounts clean, documented and structured to the playbook

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Data and Signal Strategy

  • Audit media and measurement together: structure, conversion tracking, CAPI and enhanced conversions coverage, consent impact and attribution, ranked by the performance they affect
  • Define what each platform should learn from and work with our data engineers to get the signals, value rules and first-party audiences in place
  • Validate signals before campaigns lean on them, and keep coverage and feed quality healthy
  • Know when platform attribution is enough and when a decision needs lift studies, geo holdouts or MMM

Strategy & Client Leadership

  • Own the cross-channel media strategy for each account: objectives, channel roles, budget allocation and measurement approach, refreshed quarterly
  • Own the client relationship: honest, consistent communication on performance, challenges and opportunities
  • Report in the figures the client's finance team uses, connecting spend to revenue and customer value, and lead quarterly business reviews
  • Build the value case for renewal and spot where accounts can grow, whether that's budget, new channels or measurement and BI work from the wider team
  • Lead media and signal audits and the strategy sections of proposals and pitches

Team and Capability

  • Mentor Managers and Specialists on strategy, testing and client communication, and review their work before it reaches the client
  • Lead the use of AI tools across your accounts and contribute to the media playbook

What You'll Need

  • Hands-on platform expertise: 6+ years building and running Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts yourself, with a track record of scaling e-commerce or lead generation accounts. Deep command of structure, bidding, audiences, creative and feeds, including Performance Max, Advantage+, value-based bidding and Google Merchant Center. Microsoft Advertising, TikTok or LinkedIn are a strong plus.
  • Data expertise: You understand how conversion data, consent, value signals and attribution determine what automated bidding actually does, and you can diagnose a performance problem from the data feeding the platform, not just from what's in the account. Fluent in GA4, GTM, enhanced conversions, Conversions API and consent mode.
  • Consulting experience: You've driven performance channels for clients, owned the outcomes and the senior relationships, run QBRs and made the case for tough recommendations.
  • Strategic thinking: You can take one view of a client's data and turn it into a coherent cross-channel strategy, and explain the trade-offs to a CMO or CFO.
  • Analytical rigour: You turn campaign and analytics data into decisions and clear recommendations, and you can read incrementality results and know what they do and don't prove.
  • Communication: Clear in writing and on calls, and confident presenting to senior client stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Google Ads and Meta Blueprint, with experience in Looker Studio.
