Performance Programme Lead

As our Performance Programme Lead, you will provide programme leadership and operational coordination across TGR Haas F1 Team's Performance groups, ensuring effective governance, alignment, and delivery of key engineering activities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Performance Director, you will act as a central point of coordination across Performance Systems, Software, Race Engineering, Heritage Engineering (TPC), and Controls & Systems. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will drive cross-functional alignment, monitor progress against strategic and operational plans, and provide the reporting, planning, and governance support required to maintain delivery momentum in a fast-paced, performance-driven Formula 1 environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Programme Coordination & Governance

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and programmes across the Performance group.
  • Support programme planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, and action follow-up.
  • Monitor progress against strategic and operational plans, escalating risks, issues, and decision points where required.
  • Produce management reporting covering delivery progress, workforce status, and key risks.

Workforce Planning & Budget Coordination

  • Coordinate workforce planning activities, including hiring requirements, contract tracking, and onboarding support in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Support budgeting, reforecasting, and financial tracking activities through coordination and reporting.
  • Contribute to financial reporting and forecasting as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical reports for external regulatory submissions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a central point of coordination across multiple Performance functions.
  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build effective working relationships across the organisation and with external partners where required.
  • Represent the team in meetings, working groups, and stakeholder forums.

Operational Delivery, Governance & Risk

  • Support day-to-day operational activities to help ensure efficient delivery and adherence to performance standards.
  • Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Identify operational risks and support mitigation activities.
  • Contribute to business continuity and operational planning activities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM discipline; an advanced degree is desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years within a motorsport environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate delivery within high-pressure, performance-driven environments.
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting, recruitment coordination, and contract and renewal management within a technically led organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices.
  • Proven leadership within high-pressure, performance-driven environments.
  • Strong organisational, communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools; experience with project management tools is desirable.
