Performance Test Engineer
MCS Group is looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to support a quality assurance team on a contract basis. This role will focus on assessing application performance under significant volumes of users, transactions, and data, helping to identify bottlenecks and ensure systems can perform reliably at scale. A great opportunity for an experienced Performance Tester to join a delivery-focused team and make an immediate impact on application quality and performance.
The Role
- Plan and execute performance and volume testing
- Work with large datasets to assess system behaviour and performance
- Identify performance issues, bottlenecks, and potential risks
- Analyse test results and provide clear recommendations
- Work closely with QA, development, and technical teams to resolve issues
- Contribute to overall testing strategy and quality assurance activities

The Person
- Proven experience in performance testing
- Strong experience with volume / load testing
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong understanding of QA and software testing principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly
