Lead Performance Tester
Location: WFH
Rate: c500/day
We’re recruiting for an experienced Lead Performance Test consultant for a greenfield platform project. This is a hands-on role with ownership of the performance testing approach from the outset.
You’ll design and set up the testing framework, implement the required tooling, and execute performance tests as the platform develops. Working closely with development, testing and platform engineering teams, you’ll agree performance goals, build realistic test scenarios and make sure performance is considered throughout delivery.

You’ll work collaboratively to investigate bottlenecks, validate improvements and help teams turn test results into action. You’ll also advise the leadership team, explaining the testing approach, the inputs behind it, the outcomes and any risks or decisions that need their attention.
What you’ll bring:
- Significant experience designing and delivering performance testing for complex platforms
- Hands-on experience with Azure performance testing tools and the wider Azure environment
- The ability to establish a testing approach, from initial design through implementation and execution
- Experience working alongside developers, testers and platform engineers to diagnose and resolve performance issues
- Confidence interpreting results and presenting practical recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Ideally, experience testing applications built in a C#/.NET stack
