Job Description:
Our purpose is to deliver energy to the world, today and tomorrow. For over 100 years, bp has focused on discovering, developing, and producing oil and gas in the nations where we operate. We are one of the few companies globally that can provide governments and customers with an integrated energy offering. Delivering our strategy sustainably is fundamental to achieving our ambition to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner.

About the Role
The Performance Unit (PU) Digital Separation Lead will play a critical role in supporting the Castrol Separation Programme, ensuring successful Day 1 readiness and delivery of TSA (Transitional Service Agreement) Exit activities across the Performance Unit.

Acting as the main liaison between the PU and central Digital governance teams, the role will ensure that central programme activities and local market requirements are effectively aligned, integrated, and delivered. The successful candidate will drive business readiness, minimise operational disruption, and ensure that customer, regulatory, and business requirements are fully represented throughout the separation journey.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Day 1 Readiness

    • Serve as the main interface between the PU and the Digital Separation Management Office (SMO) and Transition Management Office (TMO).
    • Coordinate and supervise Day 1 readiness activities across all markets within the PU.
    • Ensure local business requirements, operational processes, regulatory obligations, and customer considerations are incorporated into separation planning and execution.
    • Monitor readiness progress and resolve issues that may impact Day 1 operations.
  • TSA Exit Planning and Execution

    • Act as the PU Digital lead for TSA Exit activities.
    • Coordinate PU participation in TSA Exit planning, readiness assessments, and execution activities.
    • Ensure local risks, dependencies, operational constraints, and business requirements are reflected in TSA Exit plans.
    • Support the transition of services, applications, infrastructure, processes, and support models to future-state solutions.
    • Identify and bring up risks that could impact TSA Exit achievements, business continuity, or customer operations.
  • Governance and Partner Management

    • Act as the key liaison between the PU and central programme governance teams, including the SMO, TMO, PMO, and TSA Exit Programme.
    • Drive alignment between programme workstreams and PU priorities.
    • Coordinate decision-making, issue resolution, and action tracking across partners.
    • Represent PU interests in governance forums and provide visibility of readiness, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Business Readiness and Organisational Change

    • Coordinate Digital readiness activities across all PU markets.
    • Ensure business partners understand programme impacts, timelines, and required actions.
    • Drive engagement with PU leadership, country managers, and functional teams.
    • Support the delivery of organisational change, communication, training, and adoption activities.
    • Identify organisational and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
