Perimenopause Expert - Volunteer
Help build the future of women’s hormonal health. 💜
LYNA is building an AI-powered women’s health platform connecting nutrition, hormones, symptoms, and everyday health.
We’re looking for a Perimenopause Expert to join us for a 3-month unpaid volunteer placement and help shape how perimenopause is understood and supported within LYNA.
You’ll work directly with the founders and product/AI team, bringing expert knowledge into the development of our perimenopause, nutrition, and symptom experience.
What you’ll do
- Review and validate perimenopause-related content
- Provide expert input on common symptoms and hormonal changes
- Help develop evidence-based educational frameworks
- Review AI-generated recommendations for accuracy, safety, and appropriate clinical boundaries
- Advise on how nutrition and lifestyle information should be presented responsibly
- Help translate complex research into clear, practical guidance
- Identify areas where users may need additional professional support
- Work closely with our clinical, nutrition, product, and AI teams

Who we’re looking for
- Healthcare professional with expertise in perimenopause, menopause, or women’s hormonal health
- Examples include menopause specialists, GPs, endocrinologists, gynaecologists, specialist nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, or equivalent professionals
- Strong evidence-based approach
- Passionate about improving women's health
- Excellent research and communication skills
- Interested in AI, FemTech, and digital health
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup
- Able to commit a few flexible hours each week for 3 months
