Service Administrator Opportunity

The Trust are seeking to recruit a Service Administrator to join the Perinatal Community Mental Health Service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a friendly and proficient administration team, supporting a range of professionals within the service. It is an interesting and varied role and we’d like to find someone with good humour who enjoys the challenge of a busy working environment.

The successful applicant will need to be able to work 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Attending our weekly MDT meeting held at Morden Village Hall, Wareham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a confidential, efficient and comprehensive administrative service is provided to clients and staff.
  • Good IT skills, attention to detail, strong time management, great interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Work accurately under pressure, and be able to work well as part of a team.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Provide a professional and courteous response to patients.
  • Occasionally handle distressed patients via telephone.
  • Manage diaries.
  • Update medical records (using Rio).
  • Take minutes.
  • Assist the team with general admin.
