Spire Regency Hospital is excited to recruit an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our warm, welcoming, and highly skilled theatre team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with major orthopaedic experience who is looking to work in a modern, forward-thinking private hospital — offering up to £2,000 joining bonus and full support with Surgical First Assistant (SFA) training to help you take your career to the next level.
The Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield, South Cheshire, opened in 1991 and has since undergone extensive site modernisation, creating an excellent environment for both our patients and our teams.

Your Role
As An Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner, You Will
- Scrub for consultant-led orthopaedic surgeries, supporting procedures of varying complexity
- Assess patients’ health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
- Develop and deliver personalised care plans, considering perioperative risks and patient safety
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing multidisciplinary theatre team, maintaining Spire’s exceptional standards of care
Who We’re Looking For
- HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse
- Essential: Significant major Orthopaedic Scrub experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident working across a multidisciplinary team
- Motivation to develop further — SFA training fully supported
