Hours to be agreed for Spring & Summer 2027

Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience

Are you passionate about inspiring young musicians? St Swithun’s Catholic Primary School (Southsea, PO5) is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Peripatetic Music Teacher for maternity cover during Spring and Summer 2027.

You will deliver individual and group lessons in recorders, keyboards, and music theory to pupils in Years 2–6. You’ll help prepare children for graded exams and school performances, adapt teaching for mixed-ability groups, and work closely with our class teachers and music department. The role may involve travelling between multiple school sites.
