Peripatetic Support Manager | Luxury Elderly Care Provider
Location: South of England – Wiltshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent & Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum + car allowance & bonus
Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a growing luxury care provider who are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Peripatetic Support Manager to oversee a cluster of nursing homes across the South of England. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced turnaround Home Manager looking to take the next step into multi-site management, or an established Peripatetic/Support Manager seeking a new challenge within a growing and quality-focused provider.
The organisation has built its reputation around delivering exceptional standards of care, outstanding environments and a strong resident experience. As the group continues to grow, they are looking for a senior operational leader who can provide visible, hands-on support across a number of homes and help drive continued improvements in quality, performance and culture.
The Role
As Peripatetic Support Manager, you will work across a cluster of luxury nursing homes throughout Wiltshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent and Oxfordshire, providing hands-on operational, clinical and quality support to Home Managers and their teams.
You will play a key role within the wider leadership structure, working closely with Home Managers to identify challenges, implement improvement strategies and ensure consistently high standards across the homes. The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving operational challenges and is confident stepping into homes where additional leadership, structure or support is required.

Your responsibilities will include supporting:
- Operational and clinical performance across the homes
- CQC compliance and regulatory requirements
- Turnaround and improvement plans
- Home Managers with operational challenges and performance
- Quality improvement plans and action plans
- Staffing, recruitment and team development
- Occupancy and commercial performance
- Leadership development and succession planning
- Homes requiring additional operational or quality support
- Consistency, best practice and standards across the wider group
The Ideal Candidate
We are open to speaking with candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:
- An experienced Home Manager with a strong turnaround background who is ready to take their first step into multi-site management
- An established Peripatetic, Regional or Support Manager looking for a new challenge
- A senior Home Manager who has successfully managed complex homes and is looking to broaden their operational remit
You will ideally have:
- A nursing qualification with an active PIN (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
- Strong experience within elderly nursing or residential care
- A proven track record of improving quality, performance and operational standards
- Strong knowledge of CQC, compliance and clinical governance
- Experience managing or supporting homes through periods of change or improvement
- The ability to coach, support and influence Home Managers
- Strong commercial awareness, including occupancy, budgets and operational performance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- The willingness and ability to travel regularly across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent and Oxfordshire
